A few years ago, Jess had the opportunity to volunteer his time at the Manny Mota Foundation in the Dominican Republic through mission trips with his granddaughters Alexandria and Isabelle, and the Faith In Action Program at their school, Foothill Christian. The humanitarian efforts this annual trip provides has made a significant impact in the lives of thousands of children with the distribution of clothes, shoes, food, and supplies, as well as education programs. During both trips, Jess was instrumental in the renovation of several facilities. He was very passionate about this cause, and the idea of assisting those in need.
