He was born in Kingsburg, CA, on 8/19/1925. John graduated from Mark Keppel H.S.
He was married to Elvira Gomez on 9/18/1948.
John worked & had a career in public works for the City of San Gabriel, CA. John was a member of the American Legion #748 & had a passion for boxing, played guitar, and made “raspadas.”
He is survived by his wife, 2 sons, 2 sisters, 9 grandchildren, & 24 great grand kids. Funeral services will be held at 10am, Sat, 11/16/13 at Pierce Brothers Turner & Stevens, in San Gabriel, CA.
