Dearest Dad, 
It’s already been a year since you went with Jesus and all the Angels 👼.  I know you are with your girls everyday watching us heal and go through life.  Thank for giving us the foundation to tackle some of life’s big challenges.  Please watch over Chiara & Tren, along with Maxie and the gang, 😊 as they go to college. You must be so proud of her?
I’m so grateful 🙏🏻 for the time we had with you on Father’s Day, just a few days before the Lord took you.  You were so happy.  🥰

Dearest Dad
It is hard to believe that it has been a year since your passing. I miss you and love you. I wanted to share a memory back when we took a family trip to Hawaii. That was our family trip we took  when we were adults. It was so beautiful at the Hilton Hawaiin Village in Oauhu and the memories we all shared were amazing. I know my teenage kids put us all through the ringer with attitudes however we got past it with some memorable times. Thanks for sharing that time with me. I will never forget. I know you are in Heaven with God , Jesus and all the angels. Till we see eachother again.

Dear Uncle Joe,

God has brought you back home to join your loved ones who have also passed. My wish for you is that you are celebrating with them the wonderful life you have lived here on Earth. I have fond memories of times spent with you, and my cousins, Gina and Angie. As an only child, I sometimes felt lonely but you always welcomed me to join your family for weeknight dinners,  for a night on the couch watching Happy Days, and even included me on day trips to Magic Mountain. I want to thank you for giving me another place to call home as I was growing up. May you find peace and joy and your soul lives on.

My brother!
Since I was a little girl Joe always looked out for me.  He was my big brother. He was seven years older than I. I always remember him teasing me a lot.  He scrutinized every boy that came my way.  
Our Dad was chronically ill when I was young and Joe eventually had to pitch in financially. He had responsibilities at a young age. He helped with medical bills and he paid for my professional driving lessons and other little things my parents could not afford. I am forever grateful. 
When he was drafted I really missed him and wrote him almost everyday and still have some of those letters.  He left me his 1956 Ford. When I was old enough I got my license and pitched in by driving mom and dad around and, of course, I had lots of fun too.  I was the only teenager at school with my own car thanks to Joe! He was stationed in Germany and went to Italy on leave one year and sent me postcards from everywhere he visited.  He met all our family and told me about them.  I still have those postcards!
He is responsible for introducing me to my husband of 55 years. When I graduated and started working, he helped me pick out a used car.  My 64 Chevy Nova.  He took me to his mechanic, Domenick, to check out the car and Domenick asked me out too.  The rest is history. They, of course, stayed very good friends. 
Joe will be very much missed by all who have been fortunate to know him.
I know you are at peace now dear brother, no pain, no illness, and catching up with your two brothers,  Mom and Dad! Have a wonderful reunion with your son and grandson!

My beloved Dad “Popy”…🇺🇸
Where do I start?  You worked hard and provided for your growing family.  You had a big heart and without any doubt adopted our brother Andre as your own son.  RIP Bro🙏🏻 
As time went on, I always saw the sacrifices you made for us to have all the things we needed and taught me early on those same work ethics to take with me when I became an adult.  
During my adult years, your words rang through every day, reminding me of my strengths and right from wrong.  I still hear them today.  I admit, I repeat many of those words to your granddaughter Chiara.  She sometimes rolls her eyes 👀 like I did. Lol 😂 
You taught me:
Faith in God by going to church every Sunday w/o exception knowing the Lord 🙏🏻 will help me through life’s challenges, heartaches & loses. 
Work ethics saying “I don’t care what your job is, even if you clean toilets for a living, you do your job well! Always be an asset!”
How to change the oil & brakes in my cars saying “never rely on anyone”. Always be self sufficient girls!” 
Discipline with love. I now know why after having a daughter of my own.  You only wanted me safe, do what was best and for me to succeed in life.
Boyfriends were scared of you! 😁 they didn’t dare bring me home late!
To get back up when I got knocked down.  To keep trying-to not give up.  …I’ve had to do this many many times in my life. 
As an adult, I missed our family Sunday dinners ❤️ telling you all that’s been happening in our lives. Even asking for advise once in awhile.  
I remember you telling me I will be ok when I was so scared to deliver Chiara via C-section.  Of course you were right.
I so loved your visits to AZ to see me…hanging out with my Dad.  So cool 😎 ❤️ We went to dinner and talked about everything.  After Chiara was born you would hold and feed her.  She always stared right into your eyes.  😇
There are so many more memories. 
I will always love and miss you Dad 💔RIP 🙏🏻

Dear Dad
 It’s hard to say goodbye as you left this world to be with God! Where do I begin to share my memories as there are so many! Dad, you showed me love, respect, faith in God, how to be a good person, work hard and be self sufficient! You taught me had to change my oil in my first VW and told me it’s ok to get dirty! 
You always said you need to learn everything you can so you don’t need to rely on anyone.
He walked me down the isle twice and each time said “ Are you sure you want to do this ? We can turn around !” I told him “Your telling me this now??”
Each time we laughed about that after the weddings 
He was their when my son and daughter were born. When my son was born, he use to walk with me and Maxie in the stroller and everyone thought he was the dad to his own grandson.  He loved that since it made him feel young. 😊
Going to church as kids every Sunday and breakfast at Goodies before church was our routine. Every Sunday was family day and we could never make plans to be with friends.
He loved routine and consistency.  Showing us the faith we needed to take on this world. 
Dad, I thank you and love you for all my special memories with you❤️❤️

I grew up through elementary to high school years with Angela and Gina . Their father,  “Mr Cotugno   “ was  like a father figure to me.  He loved to tease me because I was a bit clumsy and he had such beautiful things in his home.   I made him nervous.    Of course once I did walk through his screen door thinking it was open ! Lol   
  His love for food family and church is what I remember.   Always in the kitchen stirring pasta sauce and tasting for hours    Us girls would sneak into fridge late at night for some left over Ziti   The best I ever had! My first exposure to  Italians  , I recall the frequent Expressos and biscottis late at night   I ended up traveling to Italy as an adult and feel very close to the Italian culture because of this family. 
When I was 18 he took me into his home because I had nowhere to go.  I will always be appreciative of his generosity and genuine care  Rest In Peace Mr C   🙏🏻❤️
