

She worked a wide variety of jobs, including a candy-striper at a hospital while in school; a restaurant waitress; at NewBerry's, Nardons, Seal Seat Co.; and also volunteered at the San Gabriel Mission Church’s donation center and gift shop.
She was actively involved in the church and raised her family in the Catholic faith.
She attended mass services and, when physically unable to go due to health issues, watched sermons on television and prayed the rosary along with Mother Angelica.
Mildred is preceded in death by parents, Joe and Marina Sanchez; 16 brothers and sisters; husband, Senobio Flores; and daughter, Eileen Flores.
She is survived by her two daughters, Brenda Leonardo and Deborah Flores-Arellanes; their husbands Santiago Leonardo and David Arellanes; as well as her granddaughter, Arianna Leonardo.
The family would like to thank everyone who has made a lasting and loving impression on Mildred throughout her 91 years of life; for the care and compassion shown to her; and the caregivers who were present during her final days.
