Napoleon R. Yap

Napoleon R. Yap, a cherished and wise gentleman, passed away on November 27, 2025, at the age of 93. Born on June 28, 1932, in Bogo City, Philippines, Napoleon was known for his faithful and honest nature. He lived in Bogo, Cebu Philippines for most of his life.

Napoleon had a successful career as a salesman for Pepsi Cola, where his dedication and integrity left a lasting impression.

He was married three times. With his first wife, Adelina, he had six children: Ike, Maffie, Nanette, Junjun, Christina, and Joselito. He later married Nellie Inot Yap, and subsequently, Gernalyn P. Yap, with whom he had a son, Joseph P. Yap. Napoleon was a proud grandfather and great-grandfather, and he cherished his relationships with his son-in-laws and daughter-in-laws.

A visitation will be held at Pierce Brothers Turner & Stevens Mortuary, located at 1136 East Las Tunas Drive, San Gabriel, CA 91776, on December 19, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

The funeral service will take place at Saint Anthony Catholic Church, 1901 S San Gabriel Blvd, San Gabriel, CA 91776, on December 20, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. This will be followed by a committal service at Resurrection Cemetery, 966 Potrero Grande Dr., Rosemead, CA 91776, from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm.

A reception will be held after the funeral at NBC Seafood Restaurant, 404 S. Atlantic Blvd. #A, Monterey Park, CA 91754.

Napoleon R. Yap will be remembered for his wisdom, honesty, and the cherished memories he leaves behind with his family and friends.
