Randolph Cruz

Known to all as “Randy”, Randolph G. Cruz was born on June 10, 1974 to Charles and Vera Cruz in Los Angeles, California. The youngest of four children, Randy attended La Merced Elementary and graduated from Montebello High School in 1992.

Throughout his youth and young adulthood, Randy participated in many extracurricular activities. His is best known for his participation in the Montebello High School Water Polo and Swim Team and for his role as drum major in the MHS Marching Band. In addition, Randy received numerous awards and honors in high school for both academic and athletic achievements.

After graduating from high school, Randy attended UCLA where he majored in Economics. Upon completing his studies in 1996, he partnered with a school associate to open a company called "Crowded House Entertainment". Pursuing his interests in business he then went to work for the Los Angeles County Assessor’s Office before

joining the family business.

Randy married his childhood friend, Lori Young, in May of 2008. Their life together included the birth of their daughter, Aubrey, in 2011 and Eric in May of this year.

During his lifetime, Randy made many friends and colleagues. He was very fortunate to maintain good relationships with many of his childhood friends. There was a strong bond amongst them and this is what has helped his wife, Lori, and family throughout this whole ordeal.

Randy passed away on June 2, 2013 in Arcadia, California from stroke complications. He was supported by his loving wife of 5 years, Lori as well as his young children, Aubrey and Eric. He also leaves his parents, and siblings Charles, Catherine, and Leonard.

A memorial service for Randy will be held on June 11, 2013 from 5pm-9pm at Pierce Brothers Turner & Stevens Mortuary located at: 1136 East Las Tunas Drive, San Gabriel, CA 91776.

Funeral Services for Randy will be held on June 12, 2013 from 10:30am-11:30am at: San Gabriel Mission Church located at: 428 South Mission Drive, San Gabriel, CA 91776.
