Sal, like his brother Tony, were great guys and great business colleagues of mine. Always friendly, personable, upbeat, respectful, caring, and supportive. Quality guys. Sad about their passing and miss them both. Acts 24:15, Rev 21:3-4.

I am truly sorry to hear of Sal's passing.  He was an exceptional person and professional. He did his best job to represent DHE in the most professional, friendly and efficient way.  He was always great to work with.  May he rest in peace.

I remember doing a presentation for DHE mgrs meeting years ago, I felt I did a horrible job as speaker/presenter, but Sal came to me afterwards, shook my hand and said hey "good job" Jorge. Made me feel good, showed real class and what a true gentleman.  May you rest in peace Sal!

Our family will always keep Sal's memory close to our hearts. He was such a wonderful cousin to Tony. Never missed calling on every holiday with his best wishes. Sal was the ultimate family man and so loved by every one of us. His passing is so sad. Didn't get to say goodbye...tears.

I was so saddened to hear of Sal's passing.  My relationship with Sal started like most due through a business partnerhip but it did not take long for us to form a friendship that transcended business.  Sal had in all our conversations an amazing respect for people, life and religion and to this day those traits will always be with me.  Like any relationship it was over too soon especially after losing George not to long before.  I know his love for life and family will live on.  Thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family.

So sorry to hear about Sal's passing at such a young age. I have known Sal for over 40 years. He was always a gentleman to deal with personally and professionally. Hard to believe my 2 west coast friends are no longer with us. My sympathy to the Ioele family.

Me and my family are so saddened by the loss of Sal. I will never forget the constant phone calls and caring for me and my family from the loss of George.  I know they are together now. There are not enough words that can describe how much you will be missed. You taught me a lot and I was blessed I got to meet a great person like you. Sal was the best of men and a great busines partner to work with.  He will be sorely missed by all of us at Schneider Electric.  Our thoughts and prayers are with Sal's immediate family and with his extended family at Dependable Highway Express.

I was fortunate enough to be Sal's friend for many years and through many of Sal's career changes. One thing I could always count on was Sal's unbiased acceptance of all of us he called friends, in many cases "Buddy".  Sal always made it clear that family was the most important and spoke proudly of his wife and children setting an example for all of us. I was able to meet Sal's family and it was clear that he instilled his solid values in them.  For this reason, I turned to Sal as a confidant both personal and professionally, he never disappointed me.  I will miss him and his mentoring, and energetic personality.  This is truly a loss not only for his family, but also for anyone who was lucky enough to have known Sal.  Always in my heart and thoughts I loved you Sal.

Sal , as you know you were instrumental in my mentorship in the trucking industry.  You were " The God Father " of the trucking industry.  Our years and experiences at Willg Freight Lines will never go away.  I have so much I want to say to you but just know this.  ALL of us from the Willig days to Rich Gmondo , George DeLuca and all the new gang at DHE we love you and respect your hard work and dedication to the industry. The trucking industry has lost an icon.  Many will see some day it's equivalent to losing Babe Ruth or Tiger Woods.  You meant so much to the industry.
