Javier Galvan Pérez passed away at the age of 49, on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, in Hemet, California. He was born to Jose Ortega Pérez and Rosa Maria (Galvan) Pérez, on Wednesday, July 31, 1974, in Hemet California. He was the oldest of three children.
Javier was loved by many and will be forever missed.
Javier is survived by his loving father, Jose Pérez; and his caring sisters, Elena Guadalupe Pérez and Veronica Maria Pérez. He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Rosa Maria Pérez.
My brother Javier Galván Pérez was a good brother and son. He kept to himself a lot. He really didn't complain about his situation. When he was a small kid our grandpa Andrés Galván Magaña referred to him as the charro of the family. But, that was more of a phase. He liked watching Chavo del Ocho. He would somehow always seem to have a stomach ache on Mondays. Then our mom caught on. He just wanted to stay home because that's the day the show airs. He was also into He-Man action heroes and would buy the figurines at Coronet. And he still continued to watch Chavo del Ocho plus Gilligan. He liked to play fight with Elena and especially me. Our mom had to separate us since she got tired of us play fighting. She said we looked like Gallos de Pelea. At school he was very talented. Javier knew how to be artistic (like his maternal grandfather who made oil paintings) with string and nails to make designs.(String Art). Javier stringed a beautifully detailed Ship using different colors of strings around the nails that he had carefully nailed unto a piece of wood. The ship was one of the many pieces of String Art that he made as a middle school child. Unfortunately, he got in an accident at age 16. He got hit by a speeding car while on his bike. He did continue to go to school but then he was homeschooled and then he just ended up having to drop out. During the summers we all got to play with our cousins. One day we went to Sallee park and our cousin, Maggie went on a very tall slide. She fell but luckily Javey was keeping an eye and was quickly able to catch her. Our mom, took our cousins and us to Missionettes, even though our grandpa, her dad, was against it. We all learned more about Jesus Christ. We still went to St Anthony's Catholic Church. We ended up doing our holy communion. After our mom passed away two years ago I joined my dad and my brother in praying the rosary and watching daily mass. Javier really loved devoting his time to God and the Virgin Mary. And that is why I am so much in peace because I know he was called to rest in heaven. He's now keeping our mom company including our other beloved family members who I know are believers and also in God's glory.
