Judith Lynn Baltierra, nee Stanton, or as most knew her, Judy, passed away early Sunday morning, March 10, 2024 at the age of 81. She was surrounded by loved ones as she left this earthly existence.
Judy was born in Ringling, Oklahoma on December 5, 1942 to Raleigh and Julia Stanton. She spent her early childhood in Azle, Texas. When her father died, her mother moved her and her younger brother to La Habra, California. There she married Efren Corral (Frank). After the birth of her two children, Frank unexpectedly passed away. Soon after, she met and married Charles Baltierra (Charlie), who took her and her two children into his arms and never looked back. She and Charlie lived in San Juan Capistrano, California for over 35 years before moving to San Jacinto, California, where she lived until her passing. They had a wonderful, loving marriage and truly enjoyed their life together.
Judy is survived by her husband of 53 years, Charles Baltierra; her daughter, Julie Corral-Zepeda and her husband John; and, her son, Efren Corral (Jojo), his wife Sarah, and their two sons, Anthony and Adam. Her family was everything to her. She was the proudest, fiercest, most protective wife/mother. And her family never had to wonder how much she loved them. She also had a very large, extended family of 16 full, half and step siblings. They have all preceded her in passing, but are waiting for her so they can start the next game of cards, their favorite pastime together. She was the last of her generation in that family. What a great family and such a loss to those left behind now that their generation is no more.
Judy worked for Endevco in San Juan Capistrano for over 15 years before her retirement. She loved working, but was eager to retire with Charlie when he retired. That is when they packed up and moved to San Jacinto to be closer to her daughter, Julie. In fact, they bought a home just down the street from her home so that she could be near as they transitioned into their elder years. Judy loved to be creative. She loved to sew, to craft, and to paint. And, anyone that knew her knows that she loved chocolate. And Sees Candies were her favorite.
The family is having a private memorial service for Judy in the near future. But they do want to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support from family, friends and neighbors. The family is surrounded by wonderful people, both near and far. The family would also like to thank Miller-Jones in San Jacinto for being so caring and respectful in the handling of our precious wife/mother/grandmother. Rest easy beautiful, strong lady. You will be greatly missed.
