

Adolfo Garcia Acosta, 78, of Stockton, Ca, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Medical Center surrounded by loved ones. Born in La Regina, Chihuahua, Mexico to Jesus Acosta and Guadalupe (Garcia) Acosta he lived most of his life in San José, CA. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all. He is survived by his loving wife of 51yrs, Teresa Sosa Acosta, Daughters Vilma (Evan) Lunsford, Guadalupe Acosta, Aracely (Juanita) Acosta, Analilia Acosta, Son Adolfo Jr. (Martha) Acosta, 13 Grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Adolfo was a very hardworking man spending many years working as a machine operator for Kellogg’s Factory before retiring to spend time with his grandchildren and wife. He wore many hats in life, provider for his family, devoted husband, loving dad, but the hat that best suited him was “Grandpa”. He loved his grandchildren with all his heart and had special connection with each of them. His love for his family was undeniable and his laughter was contagious. He loved to make people laugh and did so on a daily basis. Though he may have departed he will forever be in our hearts.
Rosary will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 7PM at the Roses Chapel at Oak Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park (300 Curtner Ave, San Jose, Ca 95125) and a Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 10:30AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish (2020 E. San Antonio St, San Jose, CA 95116)
