Amalia V. Ezrre

Amalia V. Ezrre, aged 84, of San Jose, California passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2025. Amalia was born in Weed, California, to parents Manuel Velasquez and Julia Galaz. She was one of five children born to the couple; one son, Maclovio, and four daughters, Caroline, Margaret, Julia and Amalia, filled the house with smiles and laughter.

She is survived by her loving children Rosa Ezrre-Tower (Tim), Stella Ezrre and Patty Ezrre. She was a dear sister to Julia Coover and was a proud Grandma or "Homie G" to her posse of grandchildren. May they always remember her wisdom, humor and lessons she taught along their journey of growing up.

She will be always remembered and forever loved by P.J. Ezrre, Alana Ezrre, Ameer "Joe" Ezrre (Caitlin), Sonia Wilkes, Anna Cathleen Contreras, Andres Lorenzo Contreras and Adrian Lizandro Contreras, and a fantastic Great Granny Goose to many.

May her legacy continue to grow through love and family. Her partner in crime, and a special niece, Anna E. Rodriguez Contreras, had an amazing relationship, and they shared in a lot of laughter, outings to different places, and closeness like no other.

Amalia's heart and home was always open to her family. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews, and good friends who knew her.

She is reunited in Heaven with her parents, Manuel Velasquez and Julia Galaz, her dear husband, Frank Ezrre, son Christopher Ezrre, brother Maclovio Velasquez, and sisters Caroline Paramo and Margaret Wilkes. What a reunion that must have been!

A Visitation will be held for Amalia on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel, 710 Willow Street, San Jose, with the Rosary starting at 6:00 PM. A final Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will occur at 11:30 AM at Saint Christopher Catholic Church, 2278 Booksin Avenue, San Jose.
