January 6, 1963 – November 3, 2025
With deepest sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, Arlyn Abella Bernil, who went home to be with the Lord on November 3, 2025.
Arlyn was born on January 6, 1963. She was a loving daughter to her late father Arturo Abella, and her mother, Erlinda Abella. She was a lifelong source of love and joy to her siblings, Mildred Santo Domingo and Arthur Abella.
She was a devoted wife to Eric Bernil, with whom she shared countless memories, adventures, and a deep bond of love. Together, they found joy in traveling and hiking in nature, a passion that brought Arlyn peace, beauty, and a sense of wonder. In her spare time, she found comfort in cooking for her family, often pouring love into every meal she shared with them.
She was an affectionate mother to Bryan De Grano and EJ Bernil, and a proud, dedicated grandmother to Audryanna Degrano, Giyanna Degrano, and Ezra Degrano. She was a caring aunt to Jerel Abella, Julian Abella, Catherine Pobre, and Monica Santo Domingo, each of whom held a special place in her heart.
Arlyn was a passionate and hardworking professional, serving in office administration for over 30 years. Her commitment, and reliability left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of working alongside her.
Arlyn’s spirit was gentle yet strong, humble yet impactful. She touched lives with her quiet compassion, her warm presence, generosity, and her unwavering devotion to her family. Though her time with us was short, her legacy will continue to shine through the love she gave and the memories she leaves behind. Our world feels dimmer without her, but Heaven shines brighter because she is there.
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted.” – Psalm 34:18
