Aurora De Guzman Paguio

Aurora Paguio, age 73, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2020 due to cardiopulmonary arrest. She was born on January 23, 1947 in Manila, Philippines. Aurora is survived by her 6 children, Raymond, Eric, Edward, Eloisa, Emil, and Marina. Grandchildren Gladys, Lauren, Guen, Colleen, Nicole, Juliana, Angela, and Emmanuel, and her sister Andrea and three brothers Jaime, Eliseo, and Rafael.

Aurora attended Immaculate Conception Academy of Manila and Mapua Institue of Technology, studying Chemical Engineering. She was a dedicated and hardworking mother, as she was a single mother of 6 kids.

She was always there to take care of her grandchildren and would always give them advice on life and how much she wanted them to succeed. You would know when she was in the room because she would be one of the loudest ones laughing, always smiling and making jokes. She lived a wonderful life and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

The funeral service will be held at 11 am on April 29, 2020 at Oakhill Funeral Home and Memorial Park at 300 Curtner Ave San Jose, CA. Burial will follow at 11:30 am. Father Justin of St. Maria Gorretti will be officiating. There will be no visitation allowed other than 10 family members due to the lockdown. We will have a memorial service after the lockdown has been lifted for Aurora’s celebration of life.
