

California in 1948. Settled in Monta Vista, now Cupertino.
Bobby worked from a young age in Hazels Dime store on Stevens Creek
Blvd. From her he learned the retail sales business that would serve him well in
later years.
Bob joined the Navy in 1965. He spent his whole enlistment aboard ship in the
Viet Nam area. Serving on the USS Kitty Hawk and the USS Ticonderoga. He kept
track of flight records and maintenance of all the ships planes. AFTER THE Navy
he chose the grocery business as a career.
In 1973 Bob met and married Rita R. Wrisley. Rita was a grade school teacher. In
1986 a son, Ryan was born. Rita continued to teach but Bob retired to devote more
time to raising Ryan and real estate. He bought, remodeled and sold homes, mostly
in the Monta Vista area.
He has a sister, Terry in Modesto and two half brothers, Ed and Ralph in Kentucky. Bob had
A brother John and a sister Pan that preceded him in death.
Bob’s vast knowledge of the Monta Vista area, good humor, friendliness, and politeness
Will be missed by many.

Burial is private. A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held at Oak Hill Funeral Home at
1 PM on Sunday, March 16th. 300 Curtner, San Jose, CA.
