Bryan David McClelland

Bryan McClelland, a devoted friend, beloved son, and cherished family member, passed away leaving behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and loyalty. Born with an adventurous spirit and a big heart, Bryan brought joy and warmth to everyone who knew him.

He graduated from Cal State East Bay in 1986 with a Bachelor's degree in Business and went on to build a successful 30-year career as a credit analyst in the tech industry. Colleagues knew him for his sharp mind, quiet dedication, and steady professionalism.

Outside of work, Bryan was known for his passions and zest for life. He spent many summers traveling across the United States in search of the biggest thrills — roller coasters. It was a hobby that perfectly captured his love for fun and adventure. He also had a knack for building RC cars, taking great satisfaction in the precision and creativity the hobby required.

A die-hard dog lover, Bryan’s heart belonged to the many four-legged companions he adored over the years. His dogs were not just pets — they were family, and undeniably spoiled. He found great joy in spending time with his close friend Barb Minneti and their dog group, a community of fellow dog lovers who shared his enthusiasm and affection for canine companionship.

Bryan was the kind of person who made ordinary moments special. Whether he was behind the grill cooking up something delicious for family and friends, or enjoying weekly lunches with lifelong friends, he brought light and laughter to every gathering. His sense of humor, his sensitivity, and his genuine, easy-going nature will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Bryan is preceded in death by his father, Orville McClelland. He is survived by his loving mother Karen McClelland; his longtime friend and roommate Barb Minneti; his brother Mike McClelland and wife Laurie; his sister Pat McClelland; and his nephew Kyle Posey.

Bryan’s memory will live on in the hearts of those he loved — a reminder of a life lived fully, joyfully, and with great affection for both people and pups.
