Christine Marie Barclay

Christine Marie Barclay, born May 21, 1952, passed away December 18, 2022 of natural causes. Her siblings, Kathleen Barclay-Forward, Mary Suzan Barclay, David F Barclay and Frances Carol Barclay-Cotton as well as eight nephews and nieces survive her. Christine was beautiful, inside and out, intelligent and good-humored. She loved the arts, music and photography, created many wonderful photos and collected art and prints.

Christine found love and companionship with Andrew Harbinson, who passed away in November 2021. They shared many fun times together traveling from the Bay Area, down the coast of California. The couple found joy in sharing their musical passion, Christine playing guitar and flute and Andrew singing Karaoke. She and Drew were close to family and enjoyed good times together during celebrations of holidays and birthdays for many years.

Christine enjoyed a career as a barber when she was able to focus on work. She struggled with the challenge of a serious mental condition for much of her adult years. Momentum for Health provided support and treatment for Christine for many years. NAMi-Santa Clara County provided the family support, education and resources as well.

The family is planning a Celebration of Life in May and details will follow soon. In lieu of flowers, the family would welcome donations be directed toward Nami-Santa Clara County and/or Momentum for Health.
