Diana Mildred Wilson

A Resident of San Jose for over 50 years.

Passed away on September 23, 2021 in San Jose, California

She was born to Laura Rebecca Runion Shook and James Timothy Shook on January 23, 1926 in Gastonia, NC.

She was an Avid Bowler since 1959. She organized womens bowling teams for City, State and National tournaments

She also coached her daughter and teammates on the Go-Getters, a special needs league at Moonlite bowl

She was particular with her hair and how she looked.

She read the Mercury news on a daily basis and knew what was going on in the world. She was a Registered voter. She could give Stats on Basketball, Baseball, Football and Golf . She watched the SF Giants and on Sundays she watched golf.

She is survived by her daughters Raynell Hernandez (Harry) of Fresno, Gloria Jacobson of San Jose, CA Cheri Aguirre (Sam) of Ripon,CA Granddaughters:Tami,Laurie, Sonja, Cheri, Michelle (Jesse), Adriana, Deborah (Clifford), Shawna (Jered), Gabrielle(Juan) Grandsons: Jim (Helen),Tim (Kim), Donald, Michael (Jennifer) Jared, Daniel (Tina), Brian (Michelle), BeBe, Sammy (Carmen).

She is preceded in death by her husband Emmett O. Wilson, her children Darlene Adams, Patricia Thiede, Debra Kay Welch, Susan D.Wilson, Raymond Welch III, and her grandsons Harry Hernandez Jr., Jonathan Welch, and grandson-in-law Keith Mangiapane.
