Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.oakhillfuneral.com for the Webb family.
On the morning of November 7th, Dolores entered into eternal rest after a short but mighty
battle with multiple myeloma. It comes as no surprise to anyone that knew her that she
continued her love of caring for others right up until she passed.
A long-time resident of San Francisco, Dolores never lost her love for the city and visited every
chance she got. It was in her ‘beautiful’ San Francisco where she and her late ex-husband, Bob
raised their two daughters, Patti and Lorri and instilled strong family values. She worked for
many years as a credit manager in the Mission District where she served on many social and
civic boards. During these wonderful years, she made many long-lasting friends and memories.
In 1982 she married her best friend, Bert Webb and they settled in Lompoc, CA. A few years
later, upon the illness and death of Bert, she moved to San Jose. She took over the family tax
and accounting business and never looked back. Dolores maintained the business that
supported long-standing clients with her family for many years and was a lively presence in the
13th Street Merchants Association.
Dolores is survived by her daughters Patti Cabano (Rod), Lorri Ortiz (David) and stepdaughter,
Eileen Hansen. She was a proud grandmother of Andrea, Mario (Alexandria), Jeffrey (Heather),
Brianna (Jason), Kevin, step-grandchildren, Alberie (Michael), Matthew (Kerri), Melissa, and
Monica (Eldon). Great grandchildren, Jacob, Jase, Roman, Josie, Santino and step-great
grandchildren, Mia, Browdy, Gracie, Jasper, Jaydalynn, Ezekiel and Cash.
She is also survived by brothers Mike, Roy (Soledad), Henry (Elva), Dan (Goya), Sam (Liz), and
Paul and sisters, Margo and Rebecca and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends whom
she adored.
She is preceded in death by her parents John and Annie, siblings Angie, Ray, Stella, Juanita,
Raquel, John ‘Pete’ and Tony and her stepson, Brent Webb.
She will be missed beyond words and we find comfort that she is now reunited with those who
have passed before and Bert, who waited 31 long years for her to join him to share memories and
laughs over a martini while listening to Frank Sinatra.
She will be remembered for her incredible spirit, devotion to God, strength, unconditional love,
constant willingness and ability to support others, make friends with everyone she met and her
wicked sense of humor. Traveling was ALWAYS an adventure with her!
Please join us in celebrating her life at Oak Hill Memorial Park (300 Curtner Ave, San Jose, CA
95125) on Tuesday, November 23rd. Visitation will be from 1-1:30pm, Mass/Rosary from
1:30-3pm, and burial at 3pm. A reception to immediately follow in Gilroy. In true Dolores
fashion, all are welcome! As Dolores donated to many charities, in lieu of flowers, please give to
a charity of your choice.
