Born in Tayabas, Quezon, Philippines, Edita was the kind of person who was known for being a mentor, loving parent and kind person. She spent her career as a Public Health Nurse, where she was respected for her work ethic and was warmly known as Ate Edith, but her true joy was found in shopping, watching her Korean dramas and spending time with her grandkids.
Those who knew her will best remember Edita for her calm demeanor, sense of humor, and ability to simplify complicated situations and give helpful guidance. She taught us the importance of hard work, love for family and simple acts of kindness, qualities that will live on through everyone she touched.
Edita’s memory will be kept alive by:
• Cezario Odias, her devoted husband of 40 years
• Her children, Mae, Kathleen, Jo and Jason
- Her sons-in-law, Matt and Michael,
• Four grandkids who will dearly miss Lola
• Her siblings, Flora, Meo, Celia and Vilma
She is now reunited with her father Rogaciano Bajar and mother Lilia Bajar, who went before her.
In lieu of flowers, the Odias Family kindly requests contributions to help assist with funeral expenses. Donations can be made directly to the family at the service. Alternatively, donations can be provided via Venmo (@Jo-Odias) or Zelle (Account Name: Mar Odias. Email: [email protected]).
