

Born on December 24th 1910, in God’s presence March 11th, 2012
Edith was born in a sod house on a homestead in South Dakota on Christmas Eve. She recalled life when there was no running water, electricity, and the horse and buggy was the primary mode of transportation. She was raised on a farm with three brothers where she helped her mother with the chores, milked the family cows and enjoyed horseback riding.
In 1934, Edith married Clyde D. Adams. They were married 57 years when Clyde died in 1992. Edith and Clyde had two sons; Delmer Leslie and Donald Clyde. They raised their family in Underwood, WA on the Columbia River where Clyde was a Fish Farmer at Spring Creek Fish Hatchery.
In 1960, Edith and Clyde enjoyed retirement by traveling in a travel trailer all over the United States and seeing most of Canada. After four years, they settled down in Mountain View, CA near their son Donald. Edith then traveled to China, Russia, and the Holy Land. She also delighted in numerous trips to Washington State to see her grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Edith often said she must be part gypsy the way she enjoyed travel.
Edith was a Sunday School teacher and helped with child evangelism. She was active in her church and Sunday School class. Edith had a passion for God’s word, and read her Bible through fifty times. She was also faithful to pray for her family every day.
Edith was preceded in death by her three brothers, her son Delmer, and husband Clyde.
Edith’s legacy includeds her son Donald Adams, wife Lillian, and their daughters Beth and Debbie; Her son Delmer (deceased) and wife Nancy had two children Gary Adams and Teri Adams Larsen. Gary has four children Chandra, Serena, Mark, and Skye, and one grandchild on the way. Teri’s four children are Bryn, Ian, Rilee, and Kjell, and her grandchildren are Braidyn and Evey.
Edith has travelled to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on her most fulfilling adventure yet.
