Elinor Harang enjoyed taking art classes at San Jose City College.

At the end of last year, Elinor was able to bond with her great grandson Alexander over their shared interest in art.  

Here is a picture of Elinor's children with the Zanotelli Family in a picture.  There is also a picture of a "wagon train" with the Harang kids and neighboring kids.  There is a picture of Mabel in it.  These pictures were taken in the early part of the 1960's decade.  

On January 7, 2022, I wrote a letter to Brian Cochran, Stan, Wendy, and Cindy of the Kaiser Hospice in San Jose, CA and said the following to them:  "Thank you for your courtesy and helpfulness to my family and I during this crisis."  

Here is a picture that was taken in 2014 of my mother, her daughter, her grandson, and great grandchildren.  

Elinor's son, William, received a Bachelor's Degree from San Jose State University in 2009.

Thank you to my cousin, Carol Bond, for her condolence post and her pleasant memory of my mother in the past.   Enclosed is a picture from the past that was taken in Bellevue, WA of Carol and her father.  

Here is a picture of the motorhome that my mother and the family camped in.  It was an Open Road motorhome.  Later, we got and used a Titan motorhome.  

Here is a picture of the first trailer that my mother camped in with us as a family.  It was a Sherwood Tent Trailer.  Our first family campout was at Potwisha campground in Sequoia National Park.  I was a kid back then.

Here is a picture from the past of my father, sister Barbara, and my mother, Elinor, on the Big Island in Hawaii.  They were using a rental car.  

Elinor Harang's father, William Francis Harang, was an Enrolled Agent was mistakenly put on a recent post text.  It should correctly read Elinor's husband, William Francis Harang, was an Enrolled Agent.    

I sent a letter on January 6, 2022, to Registered Nurse Nicholas Pasquale of the Palliative Care Dept. at Kaiser-Santa Teresa in San Jose, CA saying the following:  "My mother, Elinor Harang, passed away at her home in her sleep on Tuesday, January 4th.  Thank you for your courtesy and helpfulness to Elinor and the family while she was under the care of Kaiser."  

Elinor Harang's father, William Francis Harang, was an Enrolled Agent.

On January 5, 2022, I sent Dr. Huck Holz at Kaiser Santa Clara a letter saying the following:  "You did a cornea transplant on my mother last year...I'm deeply sorry to inform you that she passed away yesterday morning in her sleep.  She was one day short of being 90 1/2.  Although she passed away yesterday, she believed the operation was a success and she and the family are thankful to you.  It is too bad that she didn't live long enough to get the full benefits of the surgery.  Thank you once again."

Mom enjoyed family gatherings and always looked forward to them.

I'm very sorry to see that my mother recently passed away.  My father passed away on May 29, 1996.  Both of my parents did a lot of good things to me during their lifetimes.  I'm very thankful to both of my parents.  I learned some valuable lessons in life from both of them.  I miss them deeply.  

My memory goes way back. Aunt Elinor and uncle Francis lived in an apartment on 23rd St in Merced.  Billy was a baby at the time.  Whenever uncle Francis went out of town, I would spend the night with aunt Elinor to keep her company. One thing that I remember is she always had plum jam.  It was the first time I had it and has always been my favorite since then.
As a 12 year old I loved visiting with her and looked up to her. Rest in peace, aunt Elinor.
