Elizabeth Dionisio was born Elizabeth Garde Garzon in Kabankalan, Negros Occidental on July 3, 1944. Although she was an only child, she had many relatives and close friends who all remember her for her kindness and sense of humor. She studied nursing at San Juan de Dios in Pasay City, then went on to receive her BSN at La Concordia. Elizabeth was a devoted nurse for 30 years, where she was remembered for her kindness and thoughtfulness in everything she did.
In 1969, Elizabeth immigrated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she met her future husband, Ricardo Dionisio. The family went on to settle in San Jose, California with their three children, Eric, Jennifer, and Robert. After retiring from her nursing career, Elizabeth and Ricardo operated a family business until they both retired.
During her free time, Elizabeth loved to travel the globe with husband where she made many friends. She also loved shopping for handbags and shoes, watching science-fiction, and reading mystery novels. She was faithful to her parish, St. Victor Catholic Church, where she attended daily mass and gave back to her community and those less fortunate.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Ricardo, two sons Eric (Techie) and Robert (Katrina) daughter Jennifer (Dennis), and seven grandchildren: Rikki (Dean), Justin, Dylan, Sean, Dez, DJ, and AJ, as well as her beloved grand-dog, Chubbs. Her extended family is comprised of many nephews, nieces, and others she loved very much.
