Esperanza Romero

Born in Yahualica, Jalisco, she eventually settled in California, where she built a life centered on the pillars of family and faith. Esperanza passed away peacefully, surrounded by the deep love of her husband, daughters, sons, and grandchildren.

A woman of profound faith and gentle strength, Esperanza spent her life nurturing those around her, much like the roses she so dearly loved. Known for her passion for gardening and her legendary green thumb, she also found great joy in cooking for her family and the simple pleasure of shopping trips. She brought light to everyone who knew her and leaves behind a lasting legacy of resilience and unconditional love.

She now rests in the palace of roses and flowers prepared for her since birth, laughing and rejoicing in paradise.

Esperanza is survived by her devoted husband, Gregorio Romero; her daughters, Evangelina Renteria and Elida Monarez; and her sons, Alfredo, Efrain, Oscar, and Joel Romero. She also leaves behind her many grandchildren, who will carry her memory and her spirit in their hearts forever.

Visitation will be held at Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel, 710 Willow Street, San Jose, on April 23, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and the Rosary will take place from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The funeral Mass for Esperanza Romero will be celebrated at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, 325 Willow Street, San Jose, on April 24, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, and the burial service will be held at Oak Hill Memorial Park, 300 Curtner Avenue, San Jose, on April 24, 2026, from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM.

Esperanza Romero fue llamada al "Jardín de Dios" el 12 de abril de 2026.

Nacida en Yahualica, Jalisco, se fue a vivir a California, donde formó una vida basada en su familia y en su fe. Esperanza falleció tranquila y en paz, rodeada del gran amor de su esposo, sus hijos y sus nietos.

Fue una mujer de mucha fe y de una fuerza tranquila; siempre se dedicó a cuidar a los demás, así como cuidaba las rosas que tanto le gustaban. Todos la conocían por su buena mano para las plantas y su pasión por el jardín. También disfrutaba mucho cocinar para su familia y salir de compras. Ella trajo alegría a todos los que la conocieron y nos deja un ejemplo de fuerza y amor que nunca olvidaremos.

Ahora descansa en el palacio de rosas y flores que Dios le preparó desde que nació, riendo y feliz en el paraíso.

A Esperanza le sobreviven su esposo, Gregorio Romero; sus hijas, Evangelina Renteria y Elida Monarez; y sus hijos, Alfredo, Efrain, Oscar y Joel Romero. También deja a sus muchos nietos, quienes llevarán su recuerdo en el corazón para siempre.

La visitación se llevará a cabo en Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel, 710 Willow Street, San Jose, el 23 de abril de 2026, de 4:00 pm a 8:00 pm, y el servicio del rosario tendrá lugar de 6:00 pm a 7:00 pm. La misa fúnebre se celebrará en Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, 325 Willow Street, San Jose, el 24 de abril de 2026, de 1:00 pm a 2:00 pm, y el servicio de inhumación se realizará en Oak Hill Memorial Park, 300 Curtner Avenue, San Jose, el 24 de abril de 2026, de 2:30 pm a 3:30 pm.
