Frances Theresa Morley

Frances T. Morley, born May 27, 1926. Surrounded by her family, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2011, after a brief illness. Survived by her daughter Fran Vivian and son-in-law Bill, her son David Morley and daughter-in-law Julie. Predeceased by her loving husband of 57 years, Dave.

Also survived by five grandchildren; Carrie Fladger (Frank), David J. Morley, Jr. (Amy), Michelle Ortiz (Danny), Vince Young (Lori), and Melissa Young (Sultan), and eight Great Grandchildren; David J. Morley III, Jazzmin and Cameron Fladger, Gavin, Aiden and Josie Young, Daniel and Jacob Ortiz.

Fran graduated from Mildred Elley School of Business in Albany, New York, and began working for the Air Force. After WWII, she joined General Electric Company in Schenectady, New York, where she and Dave met. They were married in 1948, and raised their family in Scotia, New York. In 1963, Fran and Dave transferred to General Electric Co. in San Jose, where they continued their careers, Fran as an Executive Secretary, and Dave as a Lead Systems Engineer, both in the GE Nuclear Energy Group. They retired in the mid 1980's and spent may wonderful years together, fulfilling their retirement dreams.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to Vigil Time at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at Lima Family Erickson Funeral Home, 710 Willow St., San Jose, CA. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 3, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Christopher's Catholic Church, 2278 Booksin Ave, San Jose, CA 95125. Burial immediately following the Mass at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery, 490 Lincoln St, Santa Clara, CA 95050
