Gaetano "Danny" Doré

Gaetano Dore took his last breath on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 11:10 p.m. and is now at peace. He was born in Briey, France and was the first born to loving parents Giovanni and Palmira Dore. Gaetano moved with his family to San Jose, California on July 2, 1972, where he attended college and became a maintenance worker for most of his career.

Gaetano was a jack of all trades and enjoyed music, dancing, cooking, and taking walks with his dog. He adored his family and enjoyed entertaining them along with friends.

Gaetano Dore is survived by his loving wife, Teri Dore, his devoted son, Nathan Dore, stepson Isaac Echevarria and stepdaughter Chandra Echevarria. He is also survived by his mother and father, Palmira and Giovanni Dore and his two sisters, Marie Jose Reeves and Rita Dore Del Ponte.

His generous loving spirit and humor will be dearly missed by all those who knew him. He will continue to stay with us through loving memories and laughs we shared together, leaving us smiling through our tears.

Friends and Family are invited for Visitation from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., on Sunday June 6, 2021, and on Monday, June 7, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., with a memorial starting at 3:00 p.m. Services to be held at Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel, 710 Willow Street, San Jose.
