He will be forever missed as he always offered his support and encouragement, while demonstrating a positive approach to life. He well knew what constituted real love. He adored and cherished our mother from the first time he laid eyes on her in their neighborhood in Israel. She was a school teacher and he was an industrial welder.
A generally considerate man, he put his family first. Wanting to secure our safety and a better life for us, he made the difficult decision to immigrate to America. Once in the United States, he took pride in his new country and worked hard to contribute. He and Mom achieved their goals and built a business in the food industry. They prospered and, due to their combined efforts, forged a secure life.
He had a gift for geography, history, and religion. He knew how many people lived in a specific part of the world, their religions, and the country's history. He was amazing at trivia in these subjects. He also had a love for horses and had a white stallion that he rode with pride in his youth. He also loved music and enjoyed it even more in his later years as his vision deteriorated.
He loved deeply and was loved immeasurably by his wife, children, and six grandchildren. Nothing gave him more pleasure than to be in the company of his family. Now part of the eternal family of God, may he receive peace, absence of pain, and the ultimate love.
