I didn’t know you, but my granddaughter Aleah did.
When she heard the news of your passing she asked me to get her some lights and a candle so that your spirit would never be in the dark.  As the sun shines during the day, the lights will shine for you in the night.  May Creator guide your on your journey into the spirit world and may you find peace.

Dear James I remember the first time I saw you walk through the 1st grade door with a smile full off laughter and joy .No one will forget the times when you would goof off and be silly .My favorite moments with you are still in my core memories.I would do anything to play volleyball with you and spike you and kayson out .But one off the things I will never forget how good of a friend you were not just to me  but to everyone surrounded  around you.You knew you didn’t have to be nice to everyone but you still did .Love Aleah

I’m Miss Hershey & I met James when he was in 1st grade & he & my daughter were in Miss Ocanas’ class. I used to work at Brooktree. I am sending love , light & prayers 🙏🏽🤍 it was good seeing James the 3 weeks of summer at Raft/Elevate math.  Thank you for the online memorial I loved the video of James! I will never forget him 🥹🫶🏽🙏🏽

We first noticed the little redhead boy while walking our dog. Ever since, we’ve watched him grow from preschooler to grade-schooler.
 
We remember him: 
~ full of laughter, one of life’s sweetest creations
~ as very fun to watch running and playing with his friends, all shrieking with laughter and having a great time, especially during the Covid lockdown
~ making us smile when he and his friends would play hide and seek, or tag. They hid behind any obstacle they could find, and then erupted into laughter when found. 
~ when he got a very funny colorful mohawk haircut, which was impossible to miss, even when hiding behind a bush, tree or car
~ making sure that the younger kids kept up when playing outside
~ learning how to play softball
~ as a very good Harry Potter on Halloween
~ very polite, always saying “please” and “thank you”, even when out trick-or-treating
~ on one of the coolest rides to and from school – wearing his white helmet, we’d see this pint-sized passenger zip by on an electric scooter 

We are grateful for seeing your son growing up as a clearly happy child, who played well with others, made us smile, was polite and respectful, and very well-liked by his friends. We will miss him. 

God bless you, James. We hope your mother, family and friends find comfort and support from each other, and have wonderful memories of the little redhead boy.

I am so sorry for your loss. I always  enjoyed the texts, videos, pictures and stories shared with me over the years, of James growing up. Please know that my prayers are with you at this difficult time and will continue into the future. Hugs.

Hi James, our hearts have been heavy since we’ve heard the news.. we’ve been thinking and praying about you everyday and visited your memorial at Cataldi Park. Kayson and Kai will miss playing with you. Kayson is taking it hard, he doesn’t know why this happened to you. We were just talking about you before we found out what happened and he was wondering why he hasn’t seen you on Roblox. I’ll always remember us waiting at school in the morning and as soon as he saw you, he’d take off running to go play with you. Always looking for you and excited to see you everyday. He would tell me if you saw him first in line, you’d tell him “no way you’re first in line!!” That always made me laugh. You two were always talking non stop, it was the cutest thing at the dance while everyone’s performing you guys were just talking to each other in your own lil world but still clap after every class was finished with their dance. The last memory that I have is picking him up on the last day of school and you guys running up to each other saying goodbye and doing your guys handshake. You’ll never be forgotten. May you rest in peace ❤️

Kayson’s message: hi James, it’s Kayson. I’ve been thinking about you everyday and having dreams that you’re still here. I’m sad you are not here anymore. I will miss you and talking about forsaken. Rest in peace James, you’ll always be my bestfriend.

Deeply sorry to hear of the loss of James. I have fond memories of the times in our Kindergarten classroom. He was a bright light gone way too early and will be missed by many. Very, very sad for your loss.

There’s so much I wish I could have said to you. I didn’t get the chance to say goodbye, to greet you  or to tell you how much you meant & how much you still mean. But I want you to know this now, even if the words come too late.
Your vibrant hair, your presence, your spirit left an imprint on the hearts of everyone who knew you even those of us who didn’t get enough time with you.
I think about  what I would’ve said if I had the chance. Maybe just something simple, “hi & how are you? “
Not getting to say goodbye will always feel like something left undone , i’m sorry that I didn’t get a chance to talk to you on Friday but I carry you in my thoughts, in my prayers, and in the quiet moments when the world slows down and your memory returns like a warm breeze.

Goodbye, sweet heart … it was a pleasure meeting you in Kennedy’s first grade class, & seeing you this summer. I hope you felt loved every single day. You are not forgotten.
