James “Bo” Suyeishi, a native of San Jose passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on January 7, 2017. He is survived by loving wife, Fumi, son, Todd (Jeanne) and daughter Traci Gilbertson (Don). Loving grandfather to Rylan, Jaren, Braden, Emiko, Estevan and Erik. He enjoyed going to all the sports and other activities that the grandkids played. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tahei & Tsune Suyeishi, his sisters Asako (Mas) Nakamura, Tatsuye Suyeishi, Mitsuko Suyeishi, his brothers Masayuki & Shigeru. Survived by sisters-in-law, Mary and Teri Suyeishi. Loving Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
He retired, after 42 years, from Crown Cleaners in Japantown. Bo loved Hawaiian culture including traveling and playing the ukulele with his friends. A special thank you to Kaiser Hospice (Evangelina & Katrina), VA Hospice & Sachiko. Memorial Service will be held at the San Jose Buddhist Church – 640 N. 5th Street, San Jose, CA on January 29th at 4pm.
