Jeanette Neal passed away on September 14, 2022, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Jeanette was a native of San Jose and the daughter of Frank and Josephine Piraro. She attended St. Patrick’s elementary school and San Jose High School (1960).
In 1960, she met Lee Neal, the love of her life, and they were married for 62 incredible years.
Jeanette enjoyed a 30-year career with Signetics/Phillips Corp where she served as Purchasing Manager. Travel was one of her favorite pastimes. She and her husband were fortunate to be able to travel throughout the world and enjoyed amazing experiences during their years together. Her favorite places included Italy and Lake Tahoe.
Jennie, as she was affectionately called by all who loved her, always put family first and was happiest when family and friends were gathered around the dinner table enjoying an Italian feast that she created with love. Her lasagna and meatballs were legendary.
She is survived by her husband Lee, daughter Kelly, and son Bill as well as grandchildren Josh and Jordyn.
A celebration of Jennie’s life is scheduled for October 8, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Lima Family Erickson Chapel, 710 Willow Street, San Jose, CA 95125.
