Jesus Guerrero Flores

With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Jesus G. Flores—a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend—who entered into eternal rest on July 9, 2025, at the age of 86.

Jesus was born in Jalpa, Zacatecas, Mexico, on October 24, 1938. He built a beautiful life rooted in faith, hard work, and family. He was married to his beloved wife, Anita V. Flores, for 55 years. Together, they raised six children—Maribel, Leticia, Edelmira, Anita, Jesus, and Theresa—and were blessed with five grandchildren: Joshua, Leilani, Adrielle, Diego, and Emilio.

A hardworking and dedicated man, Jesus worked in construction for 69 years. Every Sunday, he brought his family to church, leading by example in faith and love. He often shared stories from his youth, including his early dream of becoming a priest—until he met Anita and chose instead to build a life and family with her.

Jesus took great pride in the flower garden he and Anita lovingly tended together. He enjoyed sitting outside, greeting neighbors with a warm smile, and playing joyfully with his grandchildren. His sense of humor, gentle nature, and unwavering love brought laughter and comfort to everyone who knew him.

In his final days, Jesus remained strong and full of grace. He often reassured his family that he felt no pain. He received a final blessing from Father Senic and continued to share love and joy with those around him—still making his grandchildren laugh with his silly kissy faces and playful spirit.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing him.
