Jimmy Rudy Torres Sr.

He was born May 14, 1949 in Riverside Ca. to Primi and Carmen and was the eldest of four children.

Jimmy served in the Marines with pride. While stationed in Long Beach Ca. Jimmy met Susan Gorley who was serving in the Navy, and they were married on August 12, 1971. They were happily married for 30 years and had one son Jimmy Torres Jr. Susan preceded him in death in 2001. After service with the Marines Jimmy went to work for the carpentry department for the City of San Jose. He retired after 33 1/2 years of dedicated service.

Jimmy spent all of his free time fishing with friends and family. He loved taking his boat out at any chance he got. Jimmy loved spoiling his grandchildren and doing the simple things with them like watching TV and putting together puzzles.

Jimmy is survived by his son Jimmy Jr. daughter in law Jennifer, and his grandchildren Jimmy III, Alyssa, Daniel and Trinity as well as nieces and nephews.

We will be having a celebration of life to honor the life of Jimmy Torres Sr. on August 15th 2020.
