Joan M. Contino, entered intor rest in San Jose, Ca March 31, 2010. Wife of the late Jack N. Contino, beloved mother of Carol Lawson and her husband Gary. Joan was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Cecilia Denner and her sister Shirley Hibner. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Ruth Contino and numerous nieces and nephews. she was a beloved friend to many.
Age 85 years, and former member of St. Christopher's Ladies Guild and Altar Society, Joan was a longtime San Jose resident.
Visitations will be held from 2:00 P.M. to Vigil time Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at funeral below. Friends are invited to attend Vigil Service 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at Lima Family Erickson Funeral Home, 710 Willow Street, San Jose, Ca. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, April 8, 2010 at St. Christopher's Catholic Church, corner of Booksin and Curtner Ave., San Jose, Ca.. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park, San Jose, Ca.
