A native San Franciscan, she was a graduate of Mission High School. Joan was an excellent bookkeeper and held several roles in that profession over the years. She worked at Race Street Fish & Poultry headquarters as the lead sales support and receptionist. Joan sold a lot of fish!
Joan was a loving mother to her three sons, Michael, Stephen (Maryanne) and Barry. She was a Grandmother, Great Grandmother; surviving daughter of Walter C. & Blanche M. Moore and surviving sister of Evelyn, Colleen and her twin sister, Joyce. In addition to her sons and daughter-in-law, Joan is survived by three grandsons, four granddaughters, and four great granddaughters and one great grandson. She was also loved greatly by her three nieces and two nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel, 710 Willow Street, San Jose, CA 95125.
