

Jody Kaye Joseph passed away peacefully on Monday, May 5, 2025, at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Round Rock, Texas, surrounded by love. Born on December 14, 1971, in San Jose, California, Jody was the beloved daughter of Stanley and Sharon Joseph. She graduated from Del Mar High School and went on to earn her degree from San Jose City College. Her professional journey led her to Stanford University School of Medicine, where she dedicated over 15 years as a Faculty Affairs Specialist. Her excellence and dedication earned her the admiration of colleagues and leadership alike.
To know Jody was to know kindness, warmth, and a heart full of compassion. She lived her life with grace and purpose, touching the lives of everyone fortunate enough to cross her path. Jody was a true light—bright, steady, and comforting. She cherished the simple joys of life: meaningful conversations, shared laughter, and quiet moments with loved ones. Her love extended beyond people—Jody was a devoted pet mom and found joy and healing in the unconditional love of animals.
Her ability to connect deeply with others, to listen without judgment, and to love without condition, made her unforgettable. Her presence brought comfort, her smile brought joy, and her spirit brought peace. Though she has left this world, the imprint she leaves behind is profound, and her absence is deeply felt by all who loved her.
Jody is survived by her loving parents, Stanley and Sharon Joseph; her brothers, Randy Zuber and Jeff (Sonya) Joseph; her cherished aunts and uncles: Sandy and Mary Phelps, Joanne Davis, Bruce Hammerson, Eleanor Graves, Frank Joseph, Vickie Joseph, Jaime Brackey, Peggy Kindopp, Debbie Lampman, and Madeline Connon; nephews Anthony King and Travious Aikens; her best friend and soul sister, Amara Dekeczar Sowell; and a wide circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends who meant the world to her.
She is reunited in eternal peace with her brother, Scott Zuber, and her beloved grandparents, John and Rose Joseph.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate Jody’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 23, 2025. Burial will follow immediately after the service. All who loved Jody are warmly invited to attend and share in remembering her beautiful spirit.
Jody’s life was a testament to the power of love, resilience, and kindness. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She was deeply loved, and she will be forever missed.
