

John Danh Thanh Le, 23, of San Jose, California, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2015. Born May 16, 1992 in San Jose, California, he was the son of Manh Tran and late Johnny Le. He is survived by his mother, Manh Tran; an aunt, Hong Tran; two sisters, Stacy Le and husband, Danh Phan, Thuy Le and boyfriend, Hoa Nguyen; a brother, Jimmy Le and wife, Muoi Nguyen; two nephews, Jadon and Jason Phan.
John was a member of JROTC at Yerba Buena High School where he graduated in 2010. He served for the U.S. Army as an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Operator from 2010 to 2013. He joined the U.S Army because he wanted to be like his dad. John was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in 2013 due to his knee injury.
John had a passion for anime. He had the largest collection in his room. He would never missed an Anime Expo. His favorite vocaloid was Hatsune Miku. His greatest moment was at the Miku live concert in Los Angeles. He enjoyed playing WOW, Ragnorok, and Maple Story. Benawi is his online nickname. John was a perfectionist and always reliable. His favorite food was chicken wings from Buffalo Wild Wings.
John was a caring son, great brother and a friend that would always be there for you. He loved his dad very much. We miss you very much and love you dearly. Although we are apart, you are forever in our hearts. You may be gone, but not forgotten, you will always be remembered by our mom, family and friends. Until we meet again, please rest in peace.
