

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jose G. Padilla on October 16, 2024, at the age of 79. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend, mentor, and role model, Jose G. Padilla leaves behind a legacy of selflessness, contributions to his communities, infectious Joy, and deep compassion for humanity.
Born on April 11, 1945, Jose was known for his generous spirit, hard work, jokes, big smiles, and dedication to helping others. He was a guiding light to his family and a trusted mentor to many. Through his wisdom, care, and selflessness, Jose positively impacted the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Jose was deeply involved in his community in both his hometown and residency and played a key role in an organization dedicated to raising funds to feed and support families in his hometown Jalostotitlán, Jalisco for many years. His efforts helped improve the lives of countless families, and his commitment to making a difference will never be forgotten.
His love for his family was boundless. As a father and grandfather, Jose was a pillar of strength, always offering guidance, love, and support. He cherished the moments spent with his loved ones and was a source of comfort and joy for those around him.
Jose is survived by his devoted wife, his children, and his grandchildren, who will carry forward the values he exemplified throughout his life—love, compassion, and service to others.
Though he will be greatly missed, his legacy will continue to inspire those who knew him. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were touched by his kindness.
A visitation for Jose will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, 325 Willow St, San Jose, CA 95110. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 325 Willow St, San Jose, CA 95110. A committal service will occur Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 300 Curtner Ave, San Jose, CA 95125.
