Passed away October 20th, 2012 at the age of 96 after a short illness. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 74 years (Evelyn Chavez) and his family, Son Dominic Chavez (Sally), Daughter Linda O’Connor (Clay), Grandson’s Todd Van Lom (Holly), Jeff Van Lom (Jodi), Scott Chavez (Dena), Granddaughter Lori Wynn (Reagan) and 4 great grandchildren. Joseph worked for the Ford Motor Company for 37 years. He lived a good long life; he loved his family and will live on in each of our hearts. A private service was held in his honor.
