Kun Ha Bang, born in 1950 in Seoul, South Korea, passed away on September 22, 2025 in Oakland, California at the age of 75. He is survived by his son, Thomas Bang, and grandson; sisters, Yeong Ja Wiens, Inja Yu, and Okja Watson (Harold); and nieces and nephews.
Kun Ha was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving for the South Korean Army.
Kun Ha lived in Oakland, California for the last forty years.
He enjoyed fishing and buying and selling antiques, which was his profession for the last thirty years. Prior to this, he worked for various electronic companies, including IBM.
He is in the care of Oak Hill Funeral Home in San Jose, California.
