Lea Theresa Ventura

Lea Ventura, beloved daughter of Joseph Ventura and Marian Gaetani Ventura, passed away August 26, 2024 with family by her side. Lea was born in Connecticut in 1961 and moved to San Jose, CA when she was a year old. Lea attended Chandler Tripp School, Blackford High School, and Evergreen College.

Lea will always be remembered for her bright smile, her unconditional love, and her positive attitude. She loved listening to music, singing, watching sports (especially the Giants, 49ers, and Warriors), concerts, musical theater, and being with her family and friends.

Lea is survived by her sisters Gracemary, Donna, and Marian (John), 7 Nieces and Nephews, Andrea (Madison), Mark (Morgan), Katie, Julienne (Aaron), Cameron (Marissa), Mason, and Adam, and 2 great nephews Stephen and Andrew.

Services will be held at Oakhill Funeral Home, 300 Curtner Avenue, San Jose CA 95125 - Friday, September 20th - Visitation 9:30 am to 3:00 pm and 4:00 - 6:00 pm, Rosary 6-8 pm; Saturday September 21st - Final viewing 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. Mass at 12:00 noon, Burial at 1:30 pm, Reception to follow at family home.

Lea loved the color yellow. Please join us in wearing yellow or some other bright color to celebrate Lea‘s colorful spirit.
