Uncle "Onie" as he was called by close family was born in Rosario Cavite, Philippines to Quering and Concepcion Compuesto. He was one of 8 children and is survived by 3 siblings, Cora, Nilo and Boyeth. He was married to Alicia for over 49 years and is also survived by their daughters Joan and Ruby along with his son-in-law Erwin and grandkids Joshua, Eric and Maia. His 20 years of service in the US Navy brought him to many locales and numerous awards and medals including the Vietnam Service Medal (2 Bronze Stars). He was definitely more comfortable in the background even at family functions where you'd find him in the kitchen. He finally retired fully from work after 2007 to spend family time with his grandkids who, if you spent any time with him, would eventually be introduced to Lotto and Scratchers. His last years were spent happily doing errands for friends and family, being an Uber driver for his grandkids and watching his granddaughter play basketball, perform in acrogymnastics competition and spending time with his grandsons at school functions.
