Lucille Dimagmaliw Orinion passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of family and friends on April 28, 2025. She was born on July 27, 1942 in Taguig City, Philippines. She was the sixth child of seven. She is survived by her two remaining siblings - Vilma Reyes and Jun Dimagmaliw - and her countless nephews, nieces and grandnieces and nephews.
She resided part of her life in the Philippines where she worked on the assembly line for Raycho. She left the Philippines to start her new life abroad in the United States in 1979. While here in America she worked in Silicon Valley where she resided. She found the love of her life in America where she married her husband Chris Orinion in 1984 and were happily married for 41 blissful years. Although they did not have children, they were surrounded by her loving family. She was very fond of her two favorite grandnieces Abby and Lilah who always brought joy to her life. Lucy also found joy catering to and tending to her garden which brought her daily joy. She often gave up what she grew to others so that they too may share in the joy that she had. Her home was always her sanctuary and when it was time for her to travel abroad, she and Chris would leave her home for trips to the Philippines, Japan, Canada and Mexico. Her trips to the Philippines were her fondest allowing her to see her other family members. Her one final passion was her love of jewelry which almost rivaled her love for Chris.
Her love for life did not end as she fought bravely through the last remaining days of her life. She was a fighter who fought to live life to the end. She is now at rest with God. She will be greatly missed.
