Born in Luyan, Mapandan, Pangasinan, Philippines, Lucrecia’s life was a testament to love, resilience, and quiet grace.
The cherished wife of Wency Nitor Dela Cruz, Lucrecia was the guiding light of her family—a devoted mother to nine children, a proud grandmother to 26 grandchildren, and a beloved great-grandmother to two. Her unwavering love for her family radiated in every hug, every smile, and every moment shared.
Lucrecia’s faith was the anchor of her life. A woman of deep devotion, she prayed daily and lived by the values of kindness and humility. Her joy was found in life’s simplest pleasures: cooking hearty meals, singing softly as she worked, and gliding across the dance floor in her youth with elegance and rhythm.
Diagnosed with dementia and Alzheimer’s at 85, Lucrecia’s indomitable spirit never waned. She remained active, her boundless energy reflecting the vibrant life she had lived.
Though her voice was soft and her demeanor modest, Lucrecia’s impact was profound. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and perseverance—a legacy carried forward by those she held dear.
Now at peace, reunited with her beloved Wency, Lucrecia’s memory will forever live in the hearts of her family and all who were privileged to know her.
Rest gently, Nanay. Your love, your life, and your light will never be forgotten.
