I had only known Luis for a few months, but he was a joy to work with. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. 

We miss you brother! Thank you for being apart of my family. 

I am so saddened to hear about the passing of Luis Ruben. I have so many wonderful memories of him that I will treasure forever.

Ruben was always kind and polite, an all around nice guy.  The first thing you noticed about him is that he always had a smile. That means that he was always happy, or he was happy to see you.  I am lucky to have met him and to have enjoyed his wonderful sense of humor.  It was noticeable that he was a loving son who cared dearly for his parents.  We were all so lucky to have known him.

Luis and I worked together on the same team. Although we didn't cross paths day to day,  Luis effortlessly connected with all of us through his infectious laugh, friendly nature, and great ideas on how we could be better. My condolences to Luis's family

Luis was an awesome friend with a heart of gold. 

Always laughing at his own corny Jokes with his louder than life laughter.

He was always willing to help me out when I needed him. 

He taught my how to make tri tip to perfection as well as make bomb Gallo Pinto and Nica style beans. I have his recipes saved in my family cook book and they will be passed down because that is what he was. Family.

I worked on the same team as Luis, and he was an absolute pleasure.  He brought so much joy to all of us and he will be sorely missed.  All my condolences to his family and those he left behind.  

Hi, I worked with Luis at Facebook since he joined. Very saddened to hear the news. He was such a happy,  joyful and smart Person. Within a month he became an integral part of our team. He had very clear thought-process and was always available to help whenever required.

In some of our "fun zoom meetings", he was always the "face-of-the-virtual-party" with his loud and infectious laughter.

Luis was my friend at SDSU and for years and years after. He helped me with my resume recently and really hyped me up letting me know I could find a good job and make better money. 

He was doing so well. I was so happy for him. 

He was man of depth and integrity. "Life of the party" is 100% appropriate and a gentleman would be too.

I'm so glad he was a part of my life for so many years. I miss him already.

Luis was an amazing personality and great guy, he lived in our house at SDSU with over 9 male students. I was the house manager and brought invited him to live in our house, he quickly was beloved by everyone he met and his laugh was infectious. He was Nicaraguan and also studies international business so we had lots of commonalities, we really hit it off, he will be missed by all who got the pleasure to interact with him. My condolences to Luis's family, rip amigo.

I didn't know Luis for very long but my interactions with him were always positive and he made me feel like I was talking to a long term friend. When speaking with him, not only did he have a great smile, his eyes were also very cheerful and you could tell he was a genuine, caring person. The best memory for me is when he would stop by the branch and take Alex to lunch. You could tell that he loved his mom very much. Rest in peace, Luis!
