

Luisito was born to parents Florentino and Pilar Atangan on August 31, 1945, in Rosario, Cavite, Philippines. Prior to moving to the United States, Luisito worked as a Railroad Engineer for Philippine National Railroad. After immigrating, he and his family made their home in Sunnyvale, California. Luisito worked as a Postal Carrier for the US Postal Service for over 20 years before retiring and moving to Texas.
In 1965, Luisito married Lucita Jornales, who survives him along with his siblings Edgardo, Florendo, Florentino, Florine, and Florencito. Luisito is also survived by his daughters Lilibeth, Lourdes, and Leilani, and sons Ludwin, Luisito Jr, Louis, as well as 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Luisito was predeceased by parents Florentino and Pilar Atangan, brother Virgil Atangan, and sister Cynthia Limjoco.
Luisito was known for being a loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather. His generosity and loyalty to his family was above none. Though he was not known to say much, those who knew him well appreciated his big heart. Luisito lived his life to the fullest. In his spare time, he enjoyed gambling and sports betting and often mentioned that the “casino is his second home.” He will be missed dearly by his family and friends!
The family of Luisito will welcome visitors at Oak Hill Memorial Park Room A from 12-8pm on Friday, November 13, 2020. A memorial service for Luisito will be held at Oak Hill Memorial Park Chapel of the Oaks on Saturday, November 14, 2020 from 4-7pm.
