Manuel Joaquin Grota

Manuel Joaquin Grota, age 65, of San Jose, California, died Thursday morning, August 20, 2020 from heart complications. Born May 18, 1955, in Sao Miguel, Azores Portugal, he was the son of the late Hermano Grota and Maria Grota.

Manuel was a very respected, loyal man who touched so many lives; he was rough around the edges but for those who knew him knew he had such a big heart. If help was ever needed he was there without being asked. Manuel loved his family and friends very much, if he wasn't out riding his Harleys he was in his garage wrenching away on one. He lived life in the fast lane and liked things his own way. Manuel was a huge jokester with the best laugh and could always make everyone around him smile. His kids and grandkids were his world and he was so proud of them. Manuel will be deeply missed by his family and friends... May he ride in the wind.

Manuel is survived by his two children; Tiffany and Manuel Grota; five grandchildren: Carlos Joaquin Ayala, Jesie Nevaeh Castillo, Manuel Andrew Grota, Matteo Anthony Grota, Masen Adrien Grota; his two sisters Arminda and Maria, along with his girlfriend Nancy Montoya and many loving nieces, nephews, and relatives.
