Margaret “Margie” Shigo Land, born on May 19, 1955, passed away suddenly on December 7, 2025, at the age of 70. She lived in San Jose, California. She leaves behind a legacy of love, devotion, and nurturing care.
Margie was a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister who found her greatest joy in her family. She was especially proud of her three grandchildren, who lovingly called her Mama Moji, and she adored her six grandfur-babies. Known for always showing up, she never missed a milestone and was her grandchildren’s loudest cheerleader.
She expressed her love through cooking, caring for animals, gardening, and creating warm traditions that brought people together. She is survived by her three daughters—Julie Land, Hannah Land, and Emily Land—who will always carry her love and memory forward.
