Maria "Chuy" De Jesus Amezquita

Maria De Jesus “Chuy” Amezquita was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, wife, mother in-law, and friend. She dedicated her life to taking care of her family.

She was born to Joaquin Perez and Juana Hernandez on November 10, 1955. She married the love of her life, Guadalupe Amezquita on January 31, 1979. Together, they had three boys: Joaquin, Ricardo, and Daniel, and three beautiful grandchildren: Anette, Manny, and Jameson, whom she absolutely adored and could never get enough of.

Chuy Loved spending time in the kitchen making her family their favorite meals, especially on their birthdays, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. She had a touch that only someone who cooks out of love has. She loved her plants and her evening walks, and always made friends everywhere she went. She was easy to love, and she will be dearly missed by all that knew her.

A viewing service for Maria will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 300 Curtner AVE, San Jose, CA 95125. A Rosary Service will be held Tuesday, April 5 2022, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, April 6, 2022 from 10:00 AM at Cathedral Basilica of St. Joseph, 80 S Market St, San Jose, CA 95113. A committal service will occur Wednesday, April 6, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM, 300 Curtner Ave, San Jose, CA 95125
