Maria Teresa Beltran passed away on Saturday, November 21st at the age of 63. Maria Teresa Beltran was born in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico on November 23, 1956 to parents Jose Beltran and Carmen Guerra. Tere, as she was affectionately referred to, grew up in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico before moving to San Jose, California in 1978. One of her first jobs was at the Del Monte Cannery in San Jose and later followed the company to Modesto and remained with the company for over 41 years. During her time working at the cannery, she formed many lifelong friendships. She loved helping people during her life and she never hesitated opening up her home and her heart and give what little she had to people. Her passion was always her family, children and grandchildren. She was always there for them and her friends. She would do anything to protect those that she loved and she did not hesitate to protect them from home invaders one Christmas eve that could have ended very bad if it weren’t for her actions. Her other passion was music and dancing and you could always find her surrounded by friends and loved ones. She was a social butterfly and was quick to make friends. The true life of the party and her favorite song was “Girls just want to have fun” and she loved listening to Juan Gabriel.
She is survived by her husband Salvador Hernandez, sons Ruben Navarro and Jose Navarro. Her Daughter-in-laws Olivia Navarro and Yansia Acosta. Her Grand Children Elijah Mateo Navarro, Delilah Aurora Navarro, Isaiah Sebastian Navarro, Andryk Acosta, and Alyssa Navarro.
