Ms. Mary Resendez Paz Austin, Texas – Ms. Mary Resendez Paz, 84, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 25, 2025. Born to Tomas Resendez, Sr. and Maria Cruz Resendez, Mary lived a life filled with a deep appreciation for music and friendship. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents and her brother, Tomas Resendez, Jr. She leaves behind her son, Javier Paz, and his wife, Victoria Paz.

Mary found immense happiness in listening to Tejano music, especially the sounds of Little Joe and La Familia. She was often found on the dance floor on weekends, embracing the music and sharing unforgettable moments with her closest friends. Beyond music and dancing, Mary had a deep love for plants. Whether nurturing her own garden or lovingly looking after her mother’s plants, she found peace and fulfillment in watching them thrive. She also had a spirited love for visiting casinos, enjoying the thrill of the game and the excitement of trying her luck. Whether it was a quick getaway or an evening of fun, she embraced the moment with joy and enthusiasm.

The family extends their deepest gratitude to Olivia and Kerry, the compassionate home health hospice nurses who provided unwavering support and care in her final days.
