Dear Chau Family,

Sending you my deepest condolences and prayers for the loss of your dear loved one, Tiffini. I knew her as Mercedez and from the moment she entered our lives she became like family to us. She was such a beautiful person, extremely warm, kind, and caring. I am thankful for every moment that I was blessed to share with her. I remember appreciating the beauty of nature with her on our trips, like a unspoken bond. I loved the way she was willing to be adventurous even when she said she wasn't. I felt that she was a big sister to me and I looked up to her as a life guide. I loved the way that she said "dude" and I loved the way she would laugh. I remember laughing with her a lot. I loved when she had her shy moments and would kind of whisper to you. Or when she would tease me, like a sister would.  She was like an anchor, strong and supportive, always looking out for everyone. I feel so blessed that I got to share some special time with this very special person. Her laughter, smiles and wisdom will live on in my heart. Sending her family my love and prayers for your unconceivable loss.

At Brocade, Mercedez was always super dedicated and always running around like she was on a mission. She was always super thoughtful to each and every employee. And she brightened the entire building with her friendly and quirky personality. She touched all of our hearts.  

She was also the first one to instigate a water balloon fight or ice bucket dumping over the boss’s head!  A true instigator of fun and joy. 

Most importantly, she was our dear friend.

She always took care of us.  She was our glue.  She will be deeply missed.

         Tribute to a sweet Angel

So abruptly you took off to your eternal dwelling
Leaving us behind all broken and choking

An Angel you were sent into our midst
With thoughtfulness and care you addressed our needs

So many events you single handedly organized
Decisively and Precisely, roles and responsibilities you deputized

Such an epitome, you were, of genuineness and care
You possessed that special touch so magical and rare

Personally when on the fence I sat lacking resolution
You extended your caring hand with a firm determination

Adieu, Farewell for now, our Angel so sweet
Until the day when once again we shall meet

For, the same force of creation from whence we come.
To that same body of consciousness we all return

In between, like waves on the ocean, we emerge into humanity
Our mission accomplished we merge back into divinity
So I close with this Prayer of Serenity:

Lord, Grant us 
the Serenity to accept the things we cannot change
the Courage to change the things we can, and
the Wisdom to know the difference


I am so sorry for your loss. Mercedez was so amazing and full of energy. She will be missed by all of us.
